Camporella 2016-09-04

Camporella is not a simple Record Fair, it’s a Record Exhibition Market; more precisely it’s a place conceived to express a very high quality content – starting with the story of the people participating- and the intention of channeling an essential part of the record production (as creation of music artifacts) in the enchanting historic setting of Vasca di Corbelli di Rivalta in Reggio Emilia.

The real challenge is not only about the quality of the guests, of the record labels and the records exhibited, but in the pleasure of the wait. It all starts with the atmosphere – created in the bucolic setting of the Eighteen-century Villa D’Este, surrounded by Vasca Corbelli – and the several points of entertainment, not only music related

Being the music itself enjoyment , every instrument conveying it needs to transmit somewhat this feeling and the difference is precisely here: every attendee is a participant in the broadest sense and is invited to enjoy the sensorial delicacies offered throughout the day.

Let’s start: from 10am to 6pm memorable shops, private collectors and a few independent labels, will display thousands of records, mostly vinyls (but other different formats and merchandising are not excluded), classics, rarities , latest products, to check, listen and buy.

The soundtrack will be curated by 180gr, one of of the most fascinating projects currently in the field of communication for music industry, and it will culminate with Zernell, creator of Crate Diggers, travelling record fair promoted by Discogs and based in LA.

From midday till sunset, in a different area of the park, Le Petite Cirque will stage evocative shows and magical settings for children but not only.

There will be several food and drink stalls to cater for all the guests, including one for insiders only and 150 owners of the “pro pass”.

From 8pm, in the main hall of Villa d’Este, Zaf, owner of Love Vinyl – one of the seminal record shops in London and “deus ex machina” of BBE – will start his dj set. He will be followed by Dego of 4hero, founder of 2000Black and the label with the same name, younger sibling of Reinfoced, born in 1990, surely one of the most influential artists in the past 30 years.

Essential partners of the events are, the above mentioned 180gr, with Baltimore Studio, Elettroformati, Peecker Sound and Zero.

Partners, Italian artists and and the exhibitors, are the excellence and our best chance to focus on contents, while the foreign guests, regardless of where they come from, are among our favourite DJs ever.
